Question by Ali: Should I wait for the iPod Classic 7th Generation to be released to buy an iPod?
I currently have a 2nd Generation iPod Nano with 4GB. I ran out of space and I need to buy a new iPod. When do you think the new iPod classic will be released? Is it worth the wait, or should I just buy a 6th Generation?
Also, I’m planning to buy this in a few months when I will have extra money. My friend said that perhaps the 7th generation will come out sooner because of problems with the 6th.

a watch with multimedia functionality is what we have dreamed of. Yeah, there were some MP3 player watches on the market some time ago, but why not make an iPhone in this form factor?

erm…i dont think you could really see much of the GPS on a tiny little screen like that, you’d probably get lost even more, lol xD
besides i dont think Apple has released any apps made for the ipod nano anyways, so its like your stuck with whateva that design it is and just accept it.
@geezermeezer: True, but if I’m lost, I’d rather some kind of GPS app on the iPod Nano than a normal clock face!! Still, seeing as, for me, it’s an unlikely situation, I’d rather have a nice watch

can you imagine yourself getting stuck in the middle of nowhere or the dessert and the ipod nano ran out of battery? haha, you’d lose track of time for sure.
But a real watch on the other hand though, it would last much much longer.

i have an ipod touch 32gb. it is pretty awesome. but if you only want the classic. they just came out with the new one like four months ago. i think that you should go ahead and buy the 6th generation
