  1. @kristof1840 Go back to 4 or erase the JB? You gotta reinstall the whole system then. And you can only go back to 4 if you had it jailbroken before.

  2. @superjerryye after simply just restart your ipod, this is to be expected. use redsn0w to “just boot tethered right now” if your tethered. Hope it works

  3. Nice, it worked!
For people who are crashing when clicking on “Just boot”, right click on redsnow, choose properties and under the compatibility tab, check the box to run as admin and choose to run it in windows xp sp2 (or sp3, doesnt matter) compatibility mode.
If it doesn’t work, unplug the USB plug and put it back in, then redo the above.
    It worked for me

  4. ok so i followed the instructions and when it got to the just boot thing redsn0w stopped working and now my phone is bricked what the hell

  5. I had my iTouch 4 FW 4.3.4(8K1) tethered and the problem is i Jailbraked it for a friend which she don’t have a laptop. So now i needed it untethered. I tried restoring it to factory settings, but it keeps saying error and could not be restored. Any advice on how to untethered?? THX

  6. continued ………….. drag it and drop on redsnow exe. and than it will tell you some stuf just press ok ok and exit and than the program should work fine after put your ipod in DFU mode and “just boot” and it will work 100%

  7. @superjerryye ok dude when you jailbreak you ipod touch 4 .3.5 you have white cydia icon because your not finished, try again with this after jailbreaking unplug your ipod and plug it back in than open your cydia and run “just boot” if redsnow says the program stop working blah blah just go back to the redsnow folder and find file “boot-ipt-4g
