hi i have few questions cause I’m new to jail breaking so 1st can u still use iTunes and iCloud normally

2 do you have to jailbreak on the computer u regularly use with the iPod cause i use it with a mac but i have access to windows

3 if something goes wrong could i still remove the jailbreak and still have all my stuff how it was

and 4 after the jailbreak will my apps all still work and be in the same places

I have a little confusion. I have followed your preserve baseband method to upgrade my iphone 4. I use a gevey sim. Now I have ios5.0.1 unlocked using gevey with the older baseband.
Now if I have to jailbreak do I have to again use the custom ipsw or should i just go ahead and jailbreak using latest version of redsnow. Will this upgrade my baseband? Current baseband – 4.10.01

@johnblackmin if your baseband isn’t 01.59.00 then the Gevey sim is the only option.

@TheFPSJerry Those are stock firmwares. A custom firmware is the one’s that are modified by either, Sn0wbreeze, Pwnagetool or Redsn0w. Custom firmware removes the baseband, hacktivare, and more.
